Senior Network Engineer @ Blue Cross and Blue Shield

The Senior Network Engineer works closely with the Information Security team, Systems Administrators and Engineers, and contracted consultants to design and implement computer networks which meet internal and external constituent needs. Primary responsibilities include integration of computer and network systems into the Blue Cross VT network, extended network (private/hybrid cloud) and worldwide Internet access. Provides complex, high-level technical support for computer and network systems, and carries out novel and/or complex assignments requiring the development of new and/or improved techniques and procedures.

This position also works with contracted consultants on the ongoing architecture, installation, and repair of complex voice and data communications and electronic equipment.
