In 2022, we were thrilled to introduce the Expanding Our Movement Fund to our valued members and friends. This initiative embodies our unwavering commitment to amplifying new voices and enhancing accessibility within our organization. To bring this vision to life, VBSR proudly launched two exciting endeavors: a virtual Silent Auction and a late-fall Fundraiser.

About the Silent Auction

Bidding open October 11 - December 3

VBSR members, who represent numerous industries across the state, generously donate an array of compelling, buzz-worthy products, services and experiences.

The Silent Auction will benefit VBSR's Expanding Our Movement Fund, which allows VBSR to provide free and discounted memberships, leading-edge business education, and values-driven leadership development to students, startups, small rural businesses, LGBTQ+ organizations, and changemakers who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color. The fund also supports collective action and business influence on public policy issues.

Wondering What Kind of Items?

Here are a few examples from previous auctions:

  • Limited edition autographed Phish concert poster

  • Design-Your-Own ice cream in Ben & Jerry’s R&D kitchen

  • Musical experiences from The Beatles to jazz

  • Hand-crafted, bespoke, and singular works of art and household items

  • Cheeses, beers, teas, coffees, cookies and farm-to-table meals

  • Brewery tours and AirBnB packages
