Director of Marketing and Communications

As Director of Marketing and Communications, you would be responsible for establishing and
implementing a strategic marketing plan to capitalize on market opportunities and engage consumers to generate demand. You would work with the Co-Executive Directors and the Leadership Team to build on Oak Meadow’s integrated, multi-channel marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, generate a flow of customer leads, and measure return on marketing investments.
Ideal Qualifications
- Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Depth of experience in all aspects of developing and implementing marketing strategies
- Excellent skills in digital marketing and website data analysis
- Extra points for familiarity with the K-12 educational market and/or homeschooling
Required Skillset
- Great interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills; a builder of bridges and
relationships with internal and external partners - Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with potentially competing priorities
- Enjoy creative, innovative problem solving
- Self-motivation and resourcefulness yet ease with working collaboratively
- Whiz-like facility with Google products (Workspace, Analytics, AdWords, Search Console),
WordPress, and Constant Contact - Experience in digital (including email) marketing, social media platforms, SEO and content
marketing, digital advertising and analytics
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive and aligned strategic marketing plan
- Own the collection and analysis of consumer insights to inform our product development team
- Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all organization marketing and
communications - Track and analyze digital marketing activity and develop targeted and remarketing plans
- Negotiate new and existing advertising and promotion contracts with industry partners including
market influencers - Monitor competitive activity, industry trends and best practices
This is a 40 hour per week salaried, benefitted position with a salary range of $60,000 – $75,000. While in-office connecting is essential, there is the possibility for some remote work. If you’ve ticked the boxes, we’d love to hear from you.
