Do North Coworking is a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, education, and high-quality work in the NEK. They offer professional and creative coworking space for startup founders, remote workers, forward-thinking educators, and community leaders to be productive, build community, explore new opportunities, and network! They also offer community-driven programming to engage and inspire the next wave of entrepreneurs in their community. Do North believes that collective energy and creative minds can create a positive economic impact on their community.

We will celebrate Do North’s incredible work with an evening of finger foods, networking, and drinks on Thursday, June 27th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues, make new connections, gain new ideas and inspiration, and have some fun in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont!

This event is open to everyone interested in working toward a just, thriving, and transformative economy that works for all people and the planet. This event is family-friendly and caretakers of any kind are welcome to attend with your dependents. We will have a kids fun-zone hosted by our friends at Let's Grow Kids with games led by their team! 

Food & Drinks

Our hosts will provide free finger foods for attendees, including gluten free and vegan options. Additionally, there will be drinks for purchase including non-alcoholic options.

The Northeastern Vermont Development Association (NVDA) has serves the people, municipalities and businesses of the Northeast Kingdom as both the Regional Planning Commission and Regional Development Corporation. As the Regional Planning Commission, NVDA provides municipalities and local organizations with a wide variety of planning and technical services, including assisting municipalities with regulatory options, administering grants, creating maps, and implementing transportation and natural resource plans. As the Regional Development Corporation, NVDA helps lead significant and impactful economic development work throughout the Northeast Kingdom. NVDA manages a revolving loan fund that provides financial assistance for business startups, expansions, or relocations and has developed an array of financing and investment options for promising entrepreneurs, including technical assistance and non-dilutive, larger-scale debt investments. NVDA's Brownfields Program provides develpoers with funding for assessment and reuse planning through our Brownfields Assessment Grant as well as funding for remediation and cleanup through our Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund. NVDA works closely with Do North and partners with the region’s two other coworking spaces, to expand entrepreneurial programming throughout the region through the InnovateNEK initiative and also fosters key partnerships with the Small Business Development Center, the Northeast Kingdom Collaborative, and the various Chambers of Commerce in the region.

The Vermont Community Loan Fund is a mission-driven, community-focused alternative lender and statewide impact investment fund.

VCLF’s flexible, patient loan capital transforms the lives of entrepreneurs and organizations who are un- or underserved by traditional lenders, with a focus on lower-wealth Vermonters, women and Vermonters of Color. VCLF financing builds safe, affordable homes, invests in local businesses creating quality jobs, quality early care & learning and other essential community services like health care and the arts.

The money we lend is loaned to us by impact investors who want a safe, sensible way to invest in Vermont, doing good for Vermonters today and saving for their own tomorrow.
