The Bridge

The mission of The Bridge is to strengthen the bonds among the people of the towns and cities of central Vermont by covering issues and events that are important and meaningful to them, and by providing a platform for communication.

The Bridge (Capital Region Community Media) is a 31-year old mission-driven nonprofit institution, governed by a Board of Directors and managed by a staff of three full-time and three part-time employees. We are known for our comprehensive and compelling coverage of issues and events in central Vermont. Within our pages you can engage with political and business leaders, investigate the region’s most important issues, share perspectives with neighbors, weigh the big decisions to come, and celebrate local achievements.
