Firebrand Cooperative

Firebrand Cooperative (dba Silvo Cooperative as of Jan. 2025) is a female/BIPOC-owned worker cooperative of three owners and an independent consultant, who were each instrumental to the founding and organizing of retail food cooperatives in our respective communities. We are change partners for values-driven organizations. We bring complementary skills and experience to projects including leadership development and training, strategic planning, marketing and messaging, and also an understanding of the grocery competitive landscape.

Bonnie Hudspeth is an independent consultant based in Burlington, Vermont. She is an organizational and systems developer, community builder, and web weaver supporting dynamic people and their organizations. As an experienced facilitator, community organizer, leadership trainer, and project manager, she brings over two decades of experience in the non-profit and cooperative business sectors. Through system design, leadership and business development, and relationship and capacity building, she support individuals and small businesses to flourish. Her work and approach centers people over profit, and cooperative and community ownership of all the essential things we need to thrive.
