At Greenway, we believe engineering education needs a reboot. It costs too much, doesn’t
work for many students, and is stuck in the past. That’s why we’re starting from scratch to
create a new model: one that’s radically more affordable, better aligned with students’
career and life success, and more accessible, engaging, and effective for a broader range of
young people.

In the Greenway model, students learn engineering by practicing engineering from day
one. They spend half their program on campus, working on collaborative, purpose-driven
projects that integrate the how of engineering with the why. During the other half, students
apply their learning through an industry residency with built-in mentoring and instruction.
It’s truly a model of earning and learning—one that breaks both the bubble and the cost
barrier.

We’re starting small, with a prototype site in Vermont. But our aspirations are national. If

What We Believe
We believe engineering education should reflect what engineers actually do: design,
collaborate, manage projects, and create value. It should integrate technical skills with
critical questions of sustainability, ethics, and equity. It should combine deep experiential
learning with meaningful mentoring. It should graduate students who are autonomous,
self-directed learners—people who can collaborate and lead, who are creative
problem-solvers, and who are ready to engage with tomorrow’s technologies and
challenges. And it should do all this at a price point that’s truly accessible.
We also believe this requires more than just a new curriculum. We need a new educational
culture and a new kind of institution, because legacy programs aren’t built for the kind of

Who We’re Looking For
As we work to transform engineering education, we’re building our founding faculty team.
We seek creative, energetic, and team-oriented applicants for full-time positions at any
rank. We hope applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds consider applying. We
welcome interest from traditional academics, both in engineering and in other relevant
disciplines. Additionally, we encourage practicing engineers and K–12 STEM educators to
apply, particularly those who share our commitment to mentoring students through
hands-on, project-based learning.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000–$160,000, commensurate with qualifications and
experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This is a highly collaborative,
in-person role based on our campus in Montpelier, Vermont.
