ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Estimating: A good estimate is key whether the client decides to choose Birdseye as their builder. • Maintain Estimating Database: Maintain and adapt estimating database using historical data as well as data sourced from vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Attend Initial Site Visits: Join other team members on initial site visits to gain context and more accurately create an estimate.

  • Presentations: Develop estimates into a client-centric presentation format and support Project Managers during client presentations.

  • Create Change Orders: Budgets evolve based on design decisions and cost fluctuations, therefore change orders need to be created throughout the duration of a project. The Estimator will support Project Managers in creating change orders as needed.

  • Support Internal Teams: Support other internal teams with their estimates as needed
