Asset Management Associate (Hybrid position) @ Encore Renewable Energy

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing asset management team. In this role, you will be a key member of the team managing the performance, operations, and optimization of our solar and battery storage assets. This role will primarily act in the day-to-day operations of technical asset management, reporting into the Director of Asset Management. In addition, you will be involved in strategic planning relating to the operations of our assets; work closely with our finance team as it relates to the intersection of operational and financial performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize asset performance and ensure regulatory compliance. Your Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the performance of solar and battery storage projects to ensure operational efficiency and optimize asset performance
- Manage contractor relationships for ongoing operations and maintenance services, including addressing operational issues
- Implement strategies for performance improvement, including data analysis and benchmarking against industry standards
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements regarding solar and energy storage projects
- Understand construction drawings/line diagrams and industry standard equipment for solar and battery systems
- Support finance team with operational assumptions and data to be incorporated into financial models, budgets, and forecasts to evaluate asset performance and inform strategic decision-making
- Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, summarizing asset performance, operational metrics, and financial health
- Collaborate with development, engineering, and construction teams to provide feedback on early stage planning, design, and construction efforts
- Work with construction project managers to help meet any immediate needs on projects that may arise
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners (including land owners, AHJs, utilities, contractors, consultants, and others) to align on goals and share updates on asset performance
- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector
- Perform other duties as they arise and are assigned

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise:
- Preferably 2-5 years of experience in solar and storage asset management, construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and partners
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions

- Proficient in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
