VBSR Volunteer Day & Networking Get-Together

REGISTER HERE for the Networking Get-Together from 4:00 - 6:00 PM
Join Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility and the Vermont B Corp Collective for a day of volunteering and networking! We invite you to participate in a meaningful volunteer experience by helping various Vermont nonprofits with service projects ranging from gleaning to litter cleanup!
VBSR’s Volunteer Day is open to all and is the perfect team bonding, making it a great way to spend time outdoors and possibly use your paid volunteer time with your colleagues (or on your own) while supporting the local community!
After the various volunteer events, we will gather for a Networking Get-Together in Burlington at Foam Brewers from 4:00 – 6:00 PM! This is a wonderful chance to unwind, celebrate, meet fellow volunteers, and connect with others working toward food security and sustainability in Vermont. All are welcome!
You can find us at Foam Brewer’s tented back patio area where you can sit or stand as you network. There will be delicious beer, kombucha, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available for purchase at the bar inside. Additionally, there will be food for purchase via Foam's Cheese and Charcuterie Menu.

Volunteer for a Beach Cleanup with the Rozalia Project
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Location: North Beach & Rock Point in Burlington, VT.
Capacity: 30 people
Rozalia Project Contact: Ashley Sullivan, ashley@rozaliaproject.org
Details: You will be guided to an area to pickup litter, with a focus on microplastics and large trash, to prevent it from getting into Lake Champlain. Rozalia Project will provide gloves, trash pickers, buckets, and trash bags.
After you clean, the Rozlia Project will compile the data for your cleanup. Cleanups make a difference, data makes a difference! Did you know that picking up just one plastic beverage bottle will keep 55,000 pieces of microplastic from ending up swirling around the ocean? And it only takes a few seconds. Every effort we all make to get marine debris off our shores and out of the water is important.
