VBSR Get-Together at Generator
Let's celebrate the holiday season with a VBSR Get-Together at Generator, Burlington’s nonprofit makerspace where art, science, technology, and entrepreneurship come together!
We’ll spend the evening exploring Generator’s 11,380 square feet of creative space, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the tools and projects happening there, and connecting with fellow VBSR members over drinks, snacks, and some good old-fashioned crafting.
- Get a hands-on tour of Generator: See the makerspace in action and explore some of the incredible tools, shops, and projects under one roof.
- Meet a community of makers: Hear from the Generator team about the work happening there and how makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and curious people are using the space to bring their ideas to life.
- Grab a drink and hang out: We’ll have drinks, including a non-alcoholic option from Zero Gravity, plus music and plenty of time to connect with other VBSR members.
Come curious, come ready to make something, and come ready to meet some good people!

Generator is Burlington’s premier makerspace — a vibrant hub where creativity, innovation, and collaboration come to life. We are a combination business incubator, artist accelerator and classroom at the intersection of art, science, entrepreneurship, and technology. Serving over 2,200 adults and youth annually, our 11,380 sq ft facility is anchored by our six technical shops: wood, metal, electronics, jewelry, sewing, and rapid prototyping.
Founded in 2014, Generator brings together artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and curious minds under one roof to share knowledge, tools, and inspiration. We believe that when people from different backgrounds connect and create together, powerful things happen — new skills are learned, ideas are born, and businesses take root.

rbTechnologies was founded in 1997 by Rubin Bennett with a clear goal: to make technology work better for the people who rely on it every day. What began as a one-person operation grew steadily through relationships, reputation, and a commitment to doing IT differently by listening first, solving thoughtfully, and showing up when it matters.
Over the years, we’ve found that the best technology solutions start with understanding people. We take the time to learn how each business operates, where the friction points are, and what truly matters to the team behind the screens.
That empathy shapes everything we do—from how we design systems to how we show up when things go wrong.
We’re not here to check boxes. We’re here to build trust and help people feel confident in the tools they use every day.
