VBSR Get-Together at Camp Meade

Due to the forecast for afternoon storms and our plans to gather outdoors, we've made the decision to cancel the VBSR Get-Together scheduled for Friday, June 26, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at Camp Meade in Middlesex, VT.

The good news is that the forecast appears to improve later in the evening, and live music on the green, featuring High Summer, is still expected to begin at 5:30 PM! We encourage you to join us for music, connection, and fun! Look for the VBSR sign and come spend some time with us. We'll have potato stamps for creative fun and pizza to share. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and music begins at 5:30 PM.

Join VBSR for a summer Friday afternoon of connection, creativity, and celebration at Camp Meade in Middlesex!

This family-friendly gathering is a chance to come together in appreciation and gratitude. Create your own potato stamp, connect, and unwind while building a culture of care across generations.

We’ll be hosted by the Planetary Art Institute at Camp Meade, a space dedicated to nurturing mindful individuals and strong communities through creative experiences, immersive environments, and programs for schools and families.

Spend the afternoon relaxing, exploring the campus, and connecting with others. Whether you’re networking, spending time with family, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, this is a meaningful and fun way to celebrate community!

Enjoy delicious appetizers, including gluten-free and vegan options, along with a cash bar offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. This event is family-friendly—caretakers of any kind are encouraged to attend with their dependents.

And when the event winds down, the evening continues. Stick around for Camp Meade’s Concert on the Green live music series starting at 5:30 PM!

For almost 60 years, Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) is designated by Vermont Statute to provide a wide variety of support and treatment opportunities for children, adolescents, families, and adults living with the challenges of mental illness, emotional and behavioral issues, substance use disorder, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
