VBCC Reflections from the Consumer Impact Summit
Join the Vermont B Corp Collective for a special webinar featuring exclusive recordings from the Consumer Impact Summit. The event brought businesses that prioritize sustainability, ethical practices, and social impact to Bentonville, Arkansas in September. The conference centered impact-first brands in Walmart's backyard, a retailer with significant sustainability goals related to its supply chain, showing that purpose and profit can scale. Together, we’ll watch, reflect, and engage in a group discussion centered on scaling sustainable products and packaging innovations.
This viewing will feature the “Scaling Sustainable Products: Purpose, Packaging, and Process” session from the Summit, which includes insights from Sarah Beaubien, Impact & Sustainability Lead at Mondelēz International, Cacy Curtis, CPG Sales and Commercial Leader at Danone, and Vermont’s own Jed Davis, Vice President of Strategic Engagement and Sustainability at Cabot Creamery. Together, the panel shares how their brands are pursuing impact at scale while embedding standards for sustainability into their teams, processes, ingredient sourcing, and packaging—exploring both the what and the how.
We’ll follow the viewing with a discussion exploring key takeaways from the Summit, including:
-
Emerging trends in sustainable product development
-
Innovations in circular and low-impact packaging
-
Strategies for scaling sustainability across operations
-
Lessons from mission-driven brands leading the way
This discussion offers an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect with other Vermont B Corps and values-led businesses. Jed Davis will be joining the webinar to share additional perspective and answer questions.
This event is free and open to all VBCC member businesses, including employees of member organizations.
