Unpacking The New B Corp Standard: Fair Work

REGISTER HERE

Tuesday, December 10th, 3:00 – 4:00 pm

Join the Vermont B Corp Collective for an interactive webinar to gain information about the evolving draft B Corp certification standards. This session will focus on the recent change combining impact topics "Workplace Culture" and "Fair Wages" into the new category called "Fair Work," along with the specific requirements associated with it, such as

  • additional employee policies on topics like overtime work

  • communicating employee expectations around time management and equity

  • balanced expectations of workers on variable work schedules; and

  • having a policy to obtain worker consent for overtime work.

This webinar provides a safe, supportive space for Vermont B Corps to come together to learn about the new Fair Work requirements, discuss their implications for your organization, and hear how fellow Vermont B Corps are addressing these changes.

Bring your questions and insights, and expect to leave better positioned to guide your company as you prepare to certify with the new standards, with additional tools, resources, and confidence.

Please note: This content will be most helpful to current certified B Corps and their employees. The facilitators of this event will be representatives of Vermont B Corps and do not represent B Lab US & Canada or B Lab Global. Read more about B Lab's next steps with the new standards here.

This event will be hosted by the Vermont B Corp Collective, a program of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility.

The Vermont B Corp Collective (VBCC) is a community of Certified B Corps based in Vermont engaging, connecting and fostering collaboration among B Corp businesses, our employees, and the greater community to drive positive social and environmental impact.
