Free film screening & panel discussion - RSVP and submit questions
Years ago I made a documentary called Ramen Day, following a program that helped Vermonters facing food insecurity. The program has since ended, but the issue it addressed hasn't gone away.
In fact it's gotten worse. The Vermont Legislature noted this year that food insecurity has continued to rise and Vermont grocery costs rank among the highest in the country, nearly 13% above the national average. The Vermont Department of Health and University of Vermont Health are screening the film at the Marquis Theater in Middlebury on Tuesday, April 28th from 6 to 8 pm, with a panel discussion to follow.
