B Corp Collective Action Lab
What does collective action look like for B Corps in practice?
Join VBSR for a hands-on workshop designed for B Corp certified businesses to explore certification requirements, share ideas, and turn collective impact into action.
We’ll be joined by Anastasia Gramotneva, Associate Director, Growth, B Lab U.S. & Canada, for an afternoon of conversation, practical guidance, and direct Q&A with B Lab.
We’ll dig into what the standards are designed to capture, including how healthcare connects to the Fair Work requirements, and what businesses can do to strengthen their impact. We’ll also explore what it looks like to fulfill the Government Affairs & Collective Action (GACA) at your organization within the context of the policy landscape in Vermont.
The afternoon will include:
-
An overview of how healthcare connects to the Fair Work requirements
-
A conversation about collective action and what it can look like for B Corps
-
Practical guidance on fulfilling the GACA requirement across different topics
-
Direct Q&A with B Lab U.S. & Canada
-
Small-group work to apply what we’ve discussed and identify opportunities for action
This will be a practical, participatory workshop, so come ready to ask questions, share what your business is working on, and leave with ideas you can put into practice.
We’ll also point participants toward resources including the B Lab Policy Agenda and B Corp Advocacy Toolkit to help businesses better understand opportunities for collective action and advocacy.
The Vermont B Corp Collective (VBCC) is a program of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility that provides Vermont B Corps with education, B Lab resources, and opportunities to connect and collaborate.
