Join us in celebrating B Corp Month by connecting with friends and colleagues at Lawson’s Finest Liquids in Waitsfield for an evening of networking, finger foods, and delicious drinks!

March is B Corp Month, and we’ll celebrate by recognizing Vermont’s Certified B Corporations (the most per capita in the nation!) and the Vermont B Corp Collective, which serves as the official home for Vermont B Corps in partnership with B Lab.

Our hosts at Lawson’s Finest Liquids, a Certified B Corporation, not only aim for the highest quality standards in their beer production but achieve this goal by leading with their values and by building genuine personal interactions. Lawson’s Finest embodies what it means to use business as a platform for good and a generator of social change by valuing their employees, customers, community, and environment. Lawson’s also runs a Social Impact Program and has a 100% solar powered facility. Since 2018, Lawsons’ has donated over 2.5 million dollars to 399 nonprofit organizations!

This a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues, make new connections, gain ideas and inspiration, and have some fun. This event is free for participants in the Vermont B Corp Collective program and $25 for the general public, including VBSR members. Everyone interested in working toward a just, thriving, and transformative economy that works for all people and the planet is welcome!

A program of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR), the Vermont B Corp Collective supports Vermont B Corps with education on the standards, resources from B Lab, networking with fellow B Corps, and opportunities to learn and collaborate with B Corps in Vermont. Join the VBCC!

Food & Drinks

Our hosts will provide free finger foods for attendees, including gluten free and vegan options. You will also have plenty of beverage options including Lawson’s Finest Liquids beer, wine, and other non-alcoholic options such as seltzer, tea, and mapleade!

Thank you to our host!

The Lawson’s Finest Social Impact Program (SIP) works to support thriving communities where people take good care of each other, protect and enjoy the natural world, and bring more fun to life. The program features six initiatives focused on cultivating a people-first work place, supporting local communities, greening the planet, and bringing people together to play and innovate.

The Lawson’s Finest commitment to making a difference in Vermont begins at home, where they strive to be an employer of choice by providing generous livable wages and comprehensive paid benefits to their staff. The brewery boosts economic vitality in Vermont by generating year-round tourism, sourcing from local businesses, and through guest donations to their Sunshine Fund, which supports non-profit organizations focused on healthy communities and natural resource protection. In addition to charitable giving, the brewery puts their money where their values are. They are committed to continual innovation and investment in efficiency, taking steps to minimize their impact in a resource-intensive manufacturing business. Lawson’s Finest is proud to be a founding partner of the VT Brewshed Alliance and a member of the pioneer VT Green Brewery Cohort. From the planning and building their Waitsfield, Vermont taproom to selecting the most efficient brewing, packaging, and process equipment available (even when it requires more investment), Lawson’s Finest continues its deep commitment to people, planet and prosperity.
