High 5 Adventure Learning Appoints New Executive Director

Brattleboro, VT – Thursday, January 11, 2024 – High 5 Adventure Learning Center, a leading organization in adventure education and experiential learning is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jennifer Ottinger as its new Executive Director and also celebrates the transition of Jim Grout to a new role as Founding Director.

As Executive Director, Jen leads a team of 29 employees, who are based in Brattleboro, VT, and work throughout the Northeast. Jen brings decades of hands-on experience, having spent 22 years with the organization in a wide variety of roles. Her proven track record, strategic vision, and commitment to experiential learning make her the perfect leader for High 5’s next phase of growth and impact on the diverse learning communities they serve.

In addition to Jen’s appointment, High 5 Adventure Learning Center is pleased to announce that Jim Grout, the former Executive Director, is now serving as the Founding Director. Jim Grout played a pivotal role in establishing High 5 and has a deep understanding of the organization’s history and mission.
