“Workplace Revolution” is Theme for Champlain College’s October 16 Career Conference During Innovation Week

 

Champlain College will help kick off Burlington’s Innovation Week events on October 16 with a Monday morning Career Conference entitled “Design Your Workplace Revolution!” which explores creating positive and innovative workplace experiences.

 

Professionals from Ben & Jerry’s, City Market, Rhino Foods and others discuss the role of innovation in their respective career sectors, how positive organizational frameworks offer a new model for success, and tools to position organizations for the future in an ever-changing landscape. The free conference will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Champlain Room in the Center for Communication and Creative Media at 375 Maple Street.

 

WCAX’s news anchor Eva McKend will moderate the two morning discussions with panelists including: Caitlin Goss of Rhino Foods, Sandy Julius of Ben & Jerry’s, Michael Kilfoyle of Hickok & Boardman HR Intelligence, Kim Nolan of City Market Onion River Co-op, Kevin LeSage of Dealer.com, Jeff Sprenger of Xemory, and Chris Thompson of Generator.

 

On Monday afternoon, Champlain’s Fall Career Fair will be held from 1:30 to 5 p.m. in the Argosy Gym in the IDX Student Life Center. It will feature a broad range of Vermont-based organizations showcasing career and networking opportunities and it is open to the public.
