VBSR Offers Resources & Webinar for COVID-19 Planning & Practices

Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility is offering suggested employer practices, employee practices, organizational planning resources and other resources related to planning and preparation for the effects of COVID-19.

The primary goals of the organizational approaches are:

  1. caring for employees and their families
  2. taking actions necessary to maintain mission-driven organizations.

VBSR has developed a planning checklist and resource list, intended to help organizations and companies to reference and utilize in response to the threat of COVID-19.

View VBSR’s planning checklist and resource list here.

VBSR has also developed a webinar series to provide businesses with COVID-19 response resources.

“Our intention is for the checklists, webinar and resources to help companies launch discussions on planning and prevention,” said Jane Campbell, executive director of VBSR. “As our discussions and planning continue and we gather new ideas, we will continue to add to these resources.”

A note regarding scheduled VBSR events, regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19):

In response to the rapidly developing pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19), VBSR has made the decision to reschedule all of our scheduled in-person events in March and April. This includes our:

  • March 19th Measure What Matters Workshop,
  • March 20th VBSR Connections Network meeting
  • March 25th Get-Together at Groennfell Meadery

Our May 13th Spring Conference will remain scheduled as planned, though we will continue to monitor the development of Coronavirus over the next few months in case it becomes necessary to postpone this event as well.

While rescheduling our upcoming in-person events was a difficult decision, we hope you will understand our choice to be socially responsible and precautionary in light of this developing pandemic. If you have any questions about these events or VBSR’s response to Coronavirus, please reach out to CarraC@vbsr.org.
