NHBSR Workplace Racial Equity Learning Challenge

Presented by New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility with support from the Diversity Workforce Coalition

The NH Workplace Racial Equity Learning Challenge provides individuals and teams in the New Hampshire workforce community a way to:

  • Learn about the history and dynamics of how racism manifests at the individual, interpersonal, organization, and systemic levels.
  • Gain insights into NH history and current imperatives on issues relating to racial equity.
  • Discover local resources and leaders working on these issues so you can support, amplify, and/or complement this work.
  • Have a space for dialogue with other organizational leaders to reflect and consider how you can take action and invest your resources for change in the most effective ways.

 

The Learning Challenge*, starts January 18th, 2021, and runs for four weeks:

 

Daily email prompts

A daily email will be sent on work days, with 21 days of content. Each one has a theme, with links to articles, videos, podcasts, or other resources. Questions will encourage personal and team reflection on how this relates to your life and work.

 

Weekly online dialogues

Each Friday, a facilitated Zoom meeting offers you time to dialogue about what you’re learning and share ideas with other workplace leaders.

Dates: Jan. 22, Jan 29, Feb. 5 from 12 -1pm (Followed by optional half hour open discussion from 1-1:30)

You will receive a calendar invite for each dialogue that will be updated with the Zoom link.

At the end of the series, this online workshop offers a space to think about how to make positive change in our relationships, communities, and institutions and get inspired by each other’s ideas.
