National Life and Heartworks Celebrate Reopening Of Child Care Center
Company-owned Building Hosts New Loveworks Center
Montpelier, Vermont – National Life and Heartworks Preschools celebrated the grand opening this week of a Loveworks Child Care Center in a building National Life owns on its Montpelier campus.
Heartworks leased the building from National Life earlier this year and currently serves 21 children, including many whose parents work at the adjacent offices of National Life and the state of Vermont. The center operates under the name Loveworks.
“We’re really excited to have Loveworks in our building providing quality care to the community,” said Sean Woodroffe, senior vice president and chief people officer at National Life. “We consider this an important service both to our employees’ families and to our neighbors, so we’re gratified that such a quality program has taken over our facility.”
The Loveworks school opened in January offering full-time, year-round care to children from six weeks old through pre-kindergarten. National Life renovated the building before Loveworks moved in.
“National Life has been an incredibly supportive partner in bringing our Loveworks program to Montpelier,” said Andrea Beam, Heartworks Director of Administration. “We feel very fortunate to be a part of the community and could not be more grateful to National Life for their efforts to support high-quality child care for their staff and the greater Montpelier community.”
Loveworks employs eight teachers at the National Life center. The child care center is currently accepting applications for pre-kindergarten openings.
Loveworks’ mission, a “Work of Love,” is to provide a safe, nurturing and creative environment where children thrive as they socially, physically, emotionally and academically. Love works is committed to exceeding the current standards set for child care centers.
