Ice Cream that Gives Back! Lake Champlain Chocolates & Vermont Creamery create Benefit Batch 2020

Burlington, VT –  Certified B Corporations Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC) and Vermont Creamery have teamed up to create a limited-edition Benefit Batch of ice cream to support the Vermont Foodbank.  Maple Crème Fraiche and Chocolate Crème Fraiche will be available only on July 3rd, with 100% of the proceeds going to the VT Foodbank.

During this time of COVID, these two iconic Vermont companies are using business as a force for good to help their neighbors in need. The LCC Ice Cream Truck will be at the Burlington Waterfront Park from 11am to sunset, and the LCC Ice Cream Cart will be at Oakledge Park, 11am-sunset.  The ice cream flavors will also be sold at LCC’s three retail stores in Burlington and Waterbury.

“With the lack of the usual July 4 festivities, we thought what better way to celebrate the holiday by creating these special flavors with our friends at Vermont Creamery, while also supporting our community,” says Eric Lampman, President of Lake Champlain Chocolates. “We are looking forward to people coming down to the beautiful waterfront to enjoy some delicious ice cream, while also giving back.”

The companies plan to make a big impact as the purchase of one ice cream cone will provide 5 meals for a family.
