GREEN UP VERMONT WELCOMES KATE ALBERGHINI AS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Get involved, help clean roadside litter; Green Up Day, May 2, 2020

Green Up Vermont announces the hiring of Kate Alberghini as their new Executive Director. Alberghini brings over two decades of marketing and organizational event experience which will lead the promotion of Green Up Vermont’s 50th Anniversary and educational programs, along with the enhanced sustainability of the non-profit organization into the future.

Alberghini joins Green Up from her position as Marketing and Communications Manager at Green Mountain Valley School. She has also spent time as a Marketing Specialist for the State of Vermont in the Chief Marketing Office, and Director of Creative Services for Norwich University. In addition, she is the creator and sole producer of the annual Vermont Women’s Expo.

Alberghini shares, “My career has ultimately been built around serving Vermont through the promotion of various aspects—going to school here, living here with all of the amazing state opportunities and programs, and working here by helping to promote hundreds of local businesses. I am extremely excited to use my skills to continue the beautification of Vermont and to educate generations to come on the importance of Green Up Day.”
