PCC has designed, developed, and supported our award-winning pediatric software for over 30 years. As our electronic health record solution is driving greater demand for our services, we need to expand our team. PCC seeks people to join our customer care team as a full-time Technical Support Specialist.

Technical Support Specialists are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving clients problems with PCC provided hardware, operating systems (Linux), networks, and peripherals. They respond to client calls, entering and managing their service needs into our help desk software, and participate in rotating coverage for on-call, after-hours emergency support. Travel to client offices is sometimes necessary in this role.

Ideal applicants for this position should have two or more years of experience in a professional setting that includes supporting Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, TCP/IP networks and equipment (routers, wireless, DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S), SSH, TLS/SSL, IPsec, VPN and OpenVPN, and experience with the Linux operating system, including bash scripting.

This position requires strong technical expertise along with exceptional customer service and communication skills. In order to keep our employees and families safe, PCC employees have been working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are slowly opening our office and expect everyone to work onsite at our Winooski office by mid September. We will offer employees a hybrid remote/in-office work option. We anticipate travel to client offices to begin in early 2022.
