Solar Projects Assistant | Full Time

Residential Project Management and Customer Support (RPM) is where dreams become reality in the solar process for customers. This team-oriented function requires great attention to detail and fearless follow through.  The Project Assistant supports the work of the RPM, who provides customers with joyful service after the sale and through installation. You’ll be working with the RPM team as well as our partner installers to coordinate preparation for residential solar installations, schedule heat pump installations, and following up on the details to assure customer satisfaction.  You’ll be working with the RPM team to complete and process paperwork such as the applications for permits and solar installation records. The position will also help keep company databases up-to-date so we can provide the best possible customer support.


  •  Accurately coordinate details of multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment
  •  Complete applications for local and state permitting and maintain relationships with permitting authorities
  • Create documentation to support warehouse and installation teams
  • Schedule utility service work in coordination with solar installations and manage utility relationships
  • Manage relationship with subcontracted landscapers and excavators, and schedule in coordination with solar installations
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude is absolutely key
  • Conduct friendly and professional phone and email communications with our partners and our customers
  • Prepare documents and track details for new customers, entering information in CRM
  • Manage and schedule heat pump installations with our subcontractors
  • Schedule Digsafe and other location services for applicable projects
  • Review and process post installation documentation
  • Participation in the process of innovation that will continue to keep our business steps ahead of the rest of the solar industry



  •  Focused attention to detail

  • Proficient in MSOffice, Google drive and customer care system (we use Salesforce for CRM) or other database software
  • Knowledge of the solar industry, construction process, and town/state permitting
