SunCommon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Installer to join our growing team in Waterbury, VT. This is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the reusable energy movement and join a growing organization dedicated to preserving the environment and making a healthier, safer world.

As the Solar Installer, you will work collaboratively with a team to install roof- and ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems. 

This position will be active through December, with the possibility of continuation beyond December based on workload.

What’s required of you:

  • Experience in construction, electrical and/or solar industry
  • Roofing experience preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work at heights and on ladders
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and work predominantly outdoors in extreme weather conditions
  • Sincere desire to be a part of the solar movement
