VEIC is looking for a driven Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing and Business Development functions. This position will be critical to the operational success of the team owning the end-to-end process and management of various marketing and business development functions. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail and solutions-oriented, has a strong ability to juggle multiple projects, and wants to learn and grow marketing and business development expertise within a vibrant, high-functioning team.

Operations and process improvements
Drive the development and implementation of processes that help streamline workflows, build efficiencies, and elevate quality of work.
Engage and manage diverse internal stakeholders to drive forward targeted initiatives.
Oversee systems and software to effectively manage and optimize content and digital assets.
Provide targeted support to Marketing Operations Manager with financial reporting and developing job codes for bids and proposals.
Outreach and sales initiatives
Manage memberships and conference coordination which includes: the development and oversight of abstracts, coordinating the delivery of event materials and brand assets, equipping employees with information and assets to maximize attendance, pulling an annual report to evaluate conferences
Provide pointed BD research to provide insight that can guide the development of proposals and BD initiatives.
Assist the Marketing and Communications specialist by overseeing content updates on the website and deploying email newsletters.
Help manage VEIC social media accounts by maintaining a schedule of content across channels.
Support subcontractor and partner relations for marketing. Specific tasks include: contract development and coordinating and preparing for onboarding meetings.
Provide targeted support to Consumer Insights Manager including project coordination and developing presentations and reports.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong personal commitment to the mission and vision of VEIC.
Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of marketing experience or at least three years of administrative experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired.
Ability to create and carry out systematic process and/or tactical planning and implement planned steps from start to finish.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to handle competing priorities are essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate group discussions and meetings.
Proven ability to be organized, detail oriented, and accurate.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 programs and SharePoint.
Experience with Salesforce, email management platforms, social media platforms, and/or project management software a plus.
Internal – Work is normally performed in climate-controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.
External – No travel is required.
