Employee Status: Non-Exempt Part Time
Standard Hours: Office/Home-based, 10 hours/week
Weekly office days negotiable
Hourly Rate: $17-20 per hour, plus PTO and IRA

Hyperbaric Vermont is a nonprofit with a mission to make Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
(HBOT) accessible and affordable for those who can benefit from it. We seek a
mission-driven candidate to be our Marketing and Outreach Coordinator who has at
least 3 years of nonprofit experience covering areas such as marketing, outreach, and
donor communications.

Position Summary
Be part of a growing nonprofit team dedicated to promoting affordable health care
options in the Northeast. Under the supervision of the Executive and Operations
Directors, you will provide direct support to the executive team, ensuring smooth
administrative and marketing operations for our three in-person and home-remote office
environments. Contribute your energy, insight and passion to our team so that we can
educate and impact more patients and healthcare providers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

GENERAL MARKETING
● Strategize and collaborate with the Executive and Operations Directors to implement
the marketing plan within a given annual budget.
● Delegate marketing duties to admin assistants and oversee their completion (social
media posts, newsletter blurbs, gathering of patient testimonials).
● Coordinate and execute marketing/publicity/development activities for the
organization including updates to website, proofing and posting blogs, press releases,
FPF posts, approaching local tv and newspapers, tracking past advertising and
pursuing potential advertising.
● Maintain a marketing calendar (ads, social media, Classy campaigns, newsletters,
blog posts, conferences).

OUTREACH and DEVELOPMENT
● Create or revamp outreach materials for patients, providers and donors.
● Expand outreach to target groups of patients and providers.
● Coordinate the organization’s participation in conferences and events.
● Create annual reports/impact statements in collaboration with the Operations Director.
● Help implement donor campaigns in Classy software and manage the mailing list.
● Coordinate annual appeal letters and thank you letters to donors
● Support the Executive and Operations Directors by searching for grants and
proof-reading applications.

Minimum Requirements
● At least three years of experience in office communications, marketing or
development.
● Ability to manage competing priorities and keen attention to detail required.
● Strong interest in nonprofit administration, marketing and donor relations.
● Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications
strategies
● Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
● A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key
initiatives concurrently
● A mission driven leader with the ability to serve as a unifying force and facilitator
between our offices.
● Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff,
board members, volunteers, donors, and program participants.
● Self-starter, able to work independently; enjoys creating and implementing new
initiatives.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Hyperbaric Vermont will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals to

● Work Conditions: Work is performed from a combination of your home and
climate-controlled office environments in Montpelier and Burlington with no exposure to
hazardous materials/conditions. There is a moderate level of noise from office
equipment (phone, copier, etc.) and ample space for social distancing.
● Physical Demands: Work can be performed either seated or standing. Must be able to
move around the office, and operate a computer and phone for extended periods of
time. Work may include occasional moving of objects up to 20 pounds.
