High 5 Adventure Learning Center is a non­profit that helps individuals, schools and communities use experiential and adventure education as a catalyst for positive change. Our Edge of Leadership (EOL) Program is an approach to steward the social, emotional and leadership development of all members of school communities. We’re seeking a Department Manager who wants to join us full-time to support our team in bringing our powerful programming to students and educators within the region.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain our relationships with funders and school partners.
  • Manage EOL staff team members to support functionality and growth for individuals, teams, and program partners. 
  • Generate reports, updates and correspondence to share relevant themes, programming statistics and stories of impact. 
  • Support EOL’s contributions to High 5 marketing, communications and development efforts.
  • Coordinate evaluation process and survey outreach in conjunction with our evaluation consultant.
  • Coordinate operational and logistical needs (materials, booking spaces, form organization, participant registrations, additional services, etc.) for all EOL programs.
  • Assist in filling programmatic needs at key points throughout the year.

  • Organized and able to evolve with our systems and practices.


  • Experience with managing in a non-profit or educational setting. 
  • Solid organizational skills and systems thinking.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite or similar communications technology. 
  • Strong written and oral communication and computer skills. 

  • Willingness and desire to bring energy and adaptability to High 5 and its mission, style, and team culture. 

  • Adaptable and eager to learn, be challenged, and problem-solve.
  • Willingness to live within a commutable distance of High 5.
