The role!
We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist who will be under the direction of co-founder, Carina Hamel. You will support the execution of the Bivo brand throughout the customer lifecycle across multiple channels including email marketing, blogs, social media and events. You will support the whole marketing funnel from finding and attracting customers to ensuring they become repeat customers and brand ambassadors.
Bivo is a startup; we love doing things differently and exploring unique ideas. We will look for unique ideas that can drive more visibility and loyalty to the brand. In this role, you will be building it as you go, using your creativity and strong data analysis skills to chart the right course forward and adapt to new information. A key component of this role is understanding what levers to pull at what time and how to simply reach more people.
What you will do!
+ Develop and execute marketing strategies.
+ Execute weekly newsletters, blogs and social media posts.
+ Amplify the Bivo voice – we aim to be personable, approachable, and honest.
+ Partner with internal data resources to comprehensively understand consumer behavior and leverage insights to build storylines that resonate with our consumer.
+ Identify, measure, and analyze key performance metrics to determine overall customer interest and engagement; evaluate effectiveness of strategies and campaigns; report findings and participate in reframing strategies or tactics for continual improvement.
+ Participate in the oversight, selection, and management of ambassador team.
+ Coordinate with event coordinator for product launches, PR opportunities and marketing opportunities.
+ Work with the Bivo team to identify 3-4 key initiatives to expand Bivo’s awareness to execute upon in 2024, 2025 and beyond.
+ Perform other related duties as required or directed. We are a small team and have an all hands on deck mentality.
Your skills!
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or hands on experience that shows us you have the knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
+ 4+ years relevant marketing experience with strong verbal and written communication skills;
proven ability to write content that conveys value.
+ Self motivated go-getter. We are a small team and taking initiative is a huge asset.
+ Deep understanding of marketing tools and best practices for getting a marketing program off the ground from scratch a big plus.
+ Experience utilizing data to inform your decision-making. That, combined with a willingness to listen to your gut!
+ Proficient in illustrator, photoshop and video making tools.
+ Demonstrated success in delivering results in a fast-moving and demanding environment with minimal oversight and direction.
+ Collaborative individual who enjoys partnering closely across teams and departments.
+ Understanding of the cycling industry.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Strategic thinker and resourceful problem-solver.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
