Family Business Initiatives Coordinator | Full Time

Job Summary: The Grossman School of Business is seeking a full-time Family Business Initiatives Coordinator to provide coordination and administrative support for Family Business Initiatives (FBI) within the Grossman School of Business (GSB) under the supervision of the Family Business Initiatives Director. The position will coordinate and facilitate all information technology-related needs and features for family business programs and initiatives. Responsible for oversight of events and website related to Family Business Initiatives, including the Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC), Family Business Awards (FBA), Family Business Forums, professional certificates, activities related to the Family Enterprise Research Conference (FERC), Family Business Clubs (FBC-Grad and Undergrad) and other family-business related activities. Serve as primary resource for internal and external constituents, respond to requests, interpret and provide information and data related to program feedback (via survey instruments). Direct involvement in various family-business budget activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field, and two years of related experience required. Working knowledge of software applications used to support office operations and proficiency with Internet resources required. Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required. Attention to detail and organizational skills required. Demonstrated ability to learn new methods and work independently with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated multicultural competence and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment required.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in interacting with family business owners, advisors and educators. Experience with database management. Working knowledge of web content management applications (such as Drupal or WordPress).
