Faculty Support Generalist | Full Time

Job Summary: Provide administrative support to faculty in the Grossman School of Business (GSB) by performing logistical support, such as printing and collating class materials, exams, documents, correspondence, collection and maintenance of syllabi files, and resource coordination. In collaboration with the Business Manager and Dean’s Assistant, responsible for management, coordination and record maintenance of the Faculty Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure (RPT) process, sabbatical process, and Faculty Annual Review process. Assist with general office support functions. Assist with faculty recruitment logistics and provide faculty onboarding support. Provide administrative support to the Associate Dean. Assist GSB Dean’s office staff with special projects in support of administration, programs and initiatives. Exercise discretion in use and disclosure of highly sensitive, confidential and/or time-dependent materials.

This is a 9-month (9/1-5/31), 1.0 FTE position.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience): Associates degree in business or other related field and one to three years relevant experience. Working knowledge of software applications used to support office operations, and familiarity with Internet resources required. Proficiency with spreadsheet manipulation, database management and word-processing applications, including editing, proofreading, required. Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required. Attention to detail and organizational skills required.
