Job Summary:

Provide outreach and build relationships with employers and alumni to increase engagement and enhance career opportunities for students. Develop and implement programming to ensure Grossman School of Business (GSB) students and alumni have broad exposure to potential job opportunities within and outside of Vermont. Develop, coordinate, and implement professional development opportunities in PEAKS for students to engage in experiential learning, including workshops, panels, and guest speakers. Act as career advisor, assisting with resume, cover letter, and career guidance. Collaborate with Grad Programs Career Advisor, UVM Career Center and other constituencies to ensure coordination of services including career database systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, marketing, communications or related field and two-four years’ experience in onboarding, recruitment, talent acquisition, or coaching in a personal or professional capacity required. Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships across organizations. Proficient in database and word-processing applications to include editing and proofreading skills required. Demonstrated understanding of business field career opportunities. Effective organizational, communication, team collaboration, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail required. Demonstrated multicultural competence and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with higher education desired. Experience organizing and implementing workshops, events, and/or seminars highly desired.
