The Chittenden Solid Waste District is seeking several full-time and part-time employees to join an incredible team, whose mission is to reduce and manage the solid waste generated in Chittenden County. Drop-Off Center Operators: CSWD is seeking highly motivated individuals to work at our busy Drop-Off Centers. We have openings for full-time, Saturday only, and on-call. Operators must enjoy interacting with the public and be able to operate a point-of-sale system and keep calm under pressure. Moderate to strenuous physical effort is required as is the ability to work outdoors year-round. Customer service experience a plus. Self-starters and those with a passion for recycling, composting, and waste reduction are strongly encouraged to apply.
