Garnet Transport Medicine, LLC – Director of Administration

Garnet provides 24/7 non-emergency, inter-facility patient transport services from our state-of the-art Operations Center in Essex Junction, VT.

We are seeking a results-driven leader to work closely with our clinical and non-clinical management team to oversee on-boarding and continuing personnel matters, manage numerous outside vendor relationships, direct and respond quickly and accurately to a variety of clinical and non-clinical IT providers, assist other leadership team members to coordinate and develop business systems and quality evaluations, interact with hospitals and other healthcare facility managers and supervise Garnet’s daily administrative operations.

Our ideal candidate possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability independently to multi-task, prioritize and resolve administrative issues. This position requires flexibility, superior problem-solving skills, attention to detail, business acumen and the desire to work in an environment where each day will present new challenges.

Requirements and Experience:

  • B.A. or B.S. preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a high-level office administrator required, preferably in a healthcare facility, medical or dental practice or medical transport facility.
  • Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite at a minimum) and the desire and aptitude to learn new programs.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills essential.
