Position Summary

The Demand Generation Specialist reports to the VP, Marketing and leads the execution of demand generation activities across all marketing channels with a focus on digital strategies and platforms to attract site traffic and convert that traffic into new leads for the business, including but not limited to SEO/SEM, paid and organic social, display, email, and other forms of paid advertising.


  • Develop, maintain and execute demand generation plans and programs aligned with business goals (leads, nurturing and revenue). Contribute to new demand generation strategies and initiatives and implement them at Mamava.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in sales, customer success, and service to build programs that support revenue generating activities.

  • Work with the Director of Product and Product Marketing Director to align customer personas to specific needs and preferences to deploy in relevant lifecycle marketing campaigns.

  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows, working with other members of Marketing, Sales and Service to create governance and workflow as needed.

  • Develop and manage an annual calendar of marketing campaigns, to increase website traffic and conversion metrics, both for new leads and current customer upsells. Ensure best practices and continuous optimization of campaigns.

  • Project manage and implement lead segmentation strategy, communication plans, nurturing campaigns to convert leads into customers and customers into repeat buyers.

  • Establish success metrics for sales-enablement (new and current customers) and product /brand focused marketing campaigns as well as tracking, testing, measuring and optimizing resources to maximize budget and overall program reach.

  • Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance including monitoring and optimizing all conversion rates. Lead postpartum analyses.

  • Create annotations, reports, dashboards in Google Analytics that help determine ROI of marketing efforts and inform content development and targeted marketing campaigns.

  • Maintain and manage website (URL, SEO) structure document

  • Stay current on trends and changes to platforms and algorithms that affect demand generation efforts.


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) or equivalent combined education and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in demand generation experience, B to B preferred, with a focus on paid activities and MarTech platforms

  • Deep understanding of funnel measures and how those translate to campaigns and business success

  • Experience across a broad mix of marketing channels, including but not limited to, SEO/SEM, PCC, paid social, CRO, email marketing, content marketing, and more.

  • Experience working with conversion tracking and digital reporting tools. Strong knowledge of Hubspot (or similar CRM) a plus
