Lawson’s Finest Liquids (LFL) crafts and delivers the finest and freshest beer to delight our fans. We are passionate about delivering world-class brews throughout our nine-state Northeast region and beyond. We are seeking an experienced brand marketer with graphic design skills. The Associate Brand Manager will collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Taproom departments to conceptualize and execute marketing programs, content, and collateral. The Associate Brand Manager will play a key role in the overall Marketing Department, managing brand marketing projects and bringing the LFL brand and strategies to life for our fans.


Primary Responsibilities:

Brand Marketing:

  • Help strategize, brainstorm, and bring new marketing communication ideas to life for our various marketing channels.
  • Contribute to the development of annual brand plans and lead plan components as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally to manage the new product design lifecycle – from creative, to prototypes, to finished product and brand registration.
  • Work with Director of Marketing to develop and implement communication campaigns to champion the brand and support brand launches, working collaboratively with other members of the Marketing Department to execute.
  • Manage PR agency and on-going media opportunities including press-releases, coordinating interview opportunities, and unique promotional activations.
  • Manage print marketing efforts including calendar development, agency briefing, creative development, and print submissions.

Graphic Design:

  • Design with brand objectives and target customers in mind across a broad range of mediums including email, social, web, print, and digital advertising, printed collateral, merchandise, and more.
  • Design assets for use across different departments (Sales, Marketing, Packaging, Taproom).
  • Effectively translate marketing briefs into engaging and creative designs to meet project objectives.
  • Manage projects with freelance design partners, collecting and providing feedback on their work, and seeing necessary elements through to fruition.
  • Coach Marketing Coordinator on design projects, providing feedback on designs and workflow methods.
  • Manage a number of creative projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure design and assets are delivered to specifications on time, on brief, on budget and within established brand standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • A portfolio of representative graphic design work is required
  • Bachelor’s degree, major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing experience with digital design experience, or related field
  • Knowledge of marketing consumer goods using traditional, social, and digital media platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator with a strong eye for composition
  • Solid understanding of marketing and design for consumer-packaged goods
  • Understanding of design fundamentals including typography, illustration, and layout across both print and digital platforms
  • Ability to collaborate and carry a project from conceptualization to completion
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to derive consumer insights and turn them into actionable plans
  • Able to function both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to think creatively within deadlines and pay acute attention to detail
