Administrative Assistant | Part Time

This position:

10 hours/week with the potential to expand over time

Pay commensurate with experience

Flexible work schedule

Reports directly to the Executive Director

 

The ideal candidate will:

Be passionate about COVE’s work and mission

Maintain a positive attitude

Be able to work unsupervised and/or in a group setting

Be responsible, timely, and professional

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Display understanding of sensitive issues and confidentiality

Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications

 

Duties include:

Coordinate meetings and schedule rooms

Answer phones and process incoming and outgoing mail

Maintain database (membership, contact, donation)

Prepare, coordinate, code, scan, and send all finance documents (invoices, payroll, reimbursements, deposits) to accountant

Track expenses/benefits internally (Excel)

Organize and maintain paper and electronic files

Organize office volunteers

Take notes for staff, board, and other meetings (Word)

Assist with public relations and social media

Support COVE staff and programming as necessary
