Position Description

K&M’s HeartStorm FarmStead is more than just a Bed & Breakfast! It’s a place to relax and rejuvenate.
Bright and spacious suites, with private bathrooms, and a wonderful view of the pastures! Just minutes to Brattleboro amenities, restaurants, hiking, live music venues, skiing, farmers markets, shopping. X-Country skiing within minutes, Mt Snow ski resort 30 minutes. Homemade Breakfast included! We have the house decorated for the holidays, with a glowing fireplace in the living room. Handicap accessible.
The property is beautiful with colorful flowers, pasture, barn, and the house is decorated tastefully. We enjoy making sure your stay is wonderful! The ambiance one of peaceful beauty and warmth. It’s a good place to relax and rejuvenate while enjoying peace, nature, and animals. We have 2 dogs, an indoor Burmese cat, 2 friendly and adorable barn kitties, alpacas, goats, chickens (fresh eggs!), and Guinea Fowl…what a fun family of animals!
We have established the HeartStorm Farmstead in summer 2018 and now we are building on our foundation: home/inn, barn and pasture. We seek an intelligent, creative self-starter who is an honest and enthusiastic learner. We plan to create a hospitality destination around culture, nature and learning. Currently, we host visitors primarily using AirBnB – for cultural, social, medical and executive tourism. An interns role will be pivotal to helping us diversify and increase our visitors, the stay of their visits and the activities they do relying on us.
