The working environment is fast-paced, friendly, and cooperative. The mission statement of BMAC is “to present art and ideas in ways that inspire, educate, and engage people of all ages.”

BMAC is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of museum and non-profit professionals. Our interns are organized, creative, motivated people looking to gain insight into how a community-focused contemporary art museum operates. Internships offer the opportunity to build professional skills and relationships with experienced museum mentors. Internships are unpaid, unless otherwise noted. All BMAC interns will be trained to staff the gallery greeter desk, as well as be required to work some museum events. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
