Thank you for submitting your materials for review by the Vermont Intern Program. Please see below for what to expect going forward. We have also sent this information and a copy of your materials to you via email:

  1. Our office will review your materials and respond within 1-2 business days with 1) suggestions for improvement (if any) and 2) the link to apply for the internship.

2. Please note that the Vermont Intern Program will assist you with preparing your application materials, but you will actually apply for the position on the employer’s website. It is your responsibility to complete the application process!

3. You may need to apply for multiple positions in order to find a match, so we suggest you explore other internships you may be interested in. Our list of AVAILABLE INTERNSHIPS is updated frequently and we announce new listings via Twitter @VTINTERNS.

4. If you get an internship, please let us know! Any intern placed through our program is eligible for a FREE Student Membership to Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR), and our funding from the State of Vermont is contingent on our success in placing interns. We are not always notified of intern hires by employers, so your communication is greatly appreciated.

The Vermont Intern program is funded in part by the Vermont Department of Labor’s Workforce Education and Training Fund. Our purpose is to expose young people in Vermont to the diversity of career opportunities in the state.
