Thank you for your application. Please see below for what to expect going forward. We have also sent this information and a copy of your application to you via email:

  1. Your application will be sent to the employer, who will review your application and if interested, contact you for an interview. From this point forward you should expect to communicate directly with the employer, but if you have any questions about the application process, please contact us.

2. You may need to apply for multiple positions in order to find a match, so we suggest you explore other internships you may be interested in. Our list of AVAILABLE INTERNSHIPS is updated frequently and we announce new listings via Twitter @VTINTERNS.

3. If you get an internship, please let us know! Any intern placed through our program is eligible for a FREE Student Membership to Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR), and our funding from the State of Vermont is contingent on our success in placing interns. Employers do not always notify us of intern hires, so your communication is greatly appreciated.

The Vermont Intern program is funded in part by the Vermont Department of Labor’s Workforce Education and Training Fund. Our purpose is to expose young people in Vermont to the diversity of career opportunities in the state.
