In light of the rapidly developing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, VBSR will host a free online webinar exploring socially responsible considerations, precautions, and resources for businesses to respond and prepare.

If you are like us, you are wondering what the spread of Coronavirus in our communities would mean and how your business can help play a socially responsible role in mitigating this issue. How cautious is too cautious? How should your business prepare and react to the potential spread of the virus in Vermont? What resources are available to help?

In this VBSR webinar, Duane Peterson, Co-President of SunCommon and VBSR board member, will explore and outline precautions and opportunities that businesses can take to be socially responsible about Coronavirus and play a leadership role in protecting their employees, clients, and communities. VBSR staff will also provide more information and resources for businesses on COVID-19 during this webinar.

A note from VBSR regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19):

In response to the rapidly developing pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19), VBSR has made the decision to reschedule all of our scheduled in-person events in March and April. This includes our:

  • March 19th Measure What Matters Workshop,
  • March 20th VBSR Connections Network meeting
  • March 25th Get-Together at Groennfell Meadery

Our May 13th Spring Conference will remain scheduled as planned, though we will continue to monitor the development of Coronavirus over the next few months in case it becomes necessary to postpone this event as well.

While rescheduling our upcoming in-person events was a difficult decision, we hope you will understand our choice to be socially responsible and precautionary in light of this developing pandemic. If you have any questions about these events or VBSR’s response to Coronavirus, please reach out to CarraC@vbsr.org.
