Communicating effectively and responsibly is of the utmost importance during times of pandemic and crisis. From re-tooling your marketing strategy and pivoting your social media content, to communicating effectively with your customers and employees, there is a lot to consider!

During this webinar, VBSR and three communications experts will discuss tips, best practices, and examples of socially responsible communication during crises like COVID-19. Nicci Micco of Mamava will share her experience adapting Mamava’s marketing and engagement strategies. Katie Wight of KW Content will present guidance around effective use of social media. Joseph Ingram will discuss internal crisis communications strategies.

 

Meet the presenters:

Nicci Micco Nicci Micco is the Vice President of Marketing at Mamava, the women-owned company on a mission to transform the culture of breastfeeding, while supporting and inspiring new moms every step of the way. Nicci, who started her career as a health and lifestyle journalist and has a master’s degree in nutrition, focused on behavior modification, is passionate about Mamava Logo creating content and digital experiences that drive business and empower positive personal and societal change.

 

Katie WightKatie Wight is the Chief Content Strategist, CEO, and Founder of KW Content. She is a social media marketer whose built content strategies for Vermont companies like Burton Snowboards, Tata Harper, Vermont Smoke & Cure, Sunsoil, and Rhino Foods. Katie is committed to brand storytelling with integrity and theKW Content Logotactics that help companies grow faster and nurture community engagement. She started KW Content in 2017 and works out of a small office in Shelburne, Vermont.

 

Joseph IngramJoseph Ingram is an independent marketing strategist and executive coach. For over a decade, Joseph worked in the consumer marketing and innovation space, collaborating with some of the world’s largest brands in 22 countries to accelerate their innovation pipelines. Since 2012, he has focused on serving mission-driven organizations and has helped lead three B Corps through periods of rapid growth. He works as an independent strategist helping brands to move hearts and minds, and as a coach and trainer with leaders Joseph Ingram Logoseeking to inspire purposeful teams. Joseph’s clients include leading B Corps and national nonprofits. He is based in Charlotte, VT.
