Join VBSR and Round Sky Solutions as we dive into the ways that power dynamics show up in our socially responsible businesses.

Often, leaders choose socially responsible business practices as a response or alternative to the current power dynamics and practices of mainstream business. Socially responsible is not business as usual! However, to actualize value-based businesses, it often takes unlearning old ways and using new tools created for socially responsible practices both internally and externally. Sometimes, teams experience and recreate harmful power dynamics and uncomfortable situations that they’re trying to replace! Uncomfortable dynamics are inevitable, but there are generative and positive ways to shift the ways that aren’t serving you.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to analyze the power dynamics with Round Sky’s organizational analysis lens, discuss how power affects every facet of the workflows, and most importantly some things you can concretely do to shift unhealthy dynamics to better actualize the socially responsible business (inside and out). In this workshop you can expect content, time to work through your dynamics, and next steps for yourself.

Registration for this workshop is free for VBSR members and $20 for non-members to attend. The workshop will take place virtually, and the details to join the workshop will be sent via email to all who register, in advance of the event.
