Join VBSR and socially responsible business and organization professionals from across Vermont for an in-person networking get-together. This is a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and meet new connections within the VBSR network. This event is open to anyone interested in the triple-bottom-line approach to business (people, planet, prosperity) and is free for VBSR members (including any employee of a VBSR member company) and $20 for non-members to attend.

Light hors d’oeuvres and Scott Farm sweet apple cider will be provided by our generous host. Please note that this event will take place completely outdoors! Space is limited and attendance will be first-come, first-served.

VBSR will follow COVID-19 guidance from the State of Vermont at the time of this event. Current guidance encourages anyone who would like to to wear a mask and those who are unvaccinated to wear a mask and practicing social distancing.

Thank you to our host, Scott Farm Orchard!

Scott Farm OrchardListed on the National Register of Historic Places, Scott Farm has been in active cultivation since 1791. The farm was a key location for the filming of the Academy Award-winning movie The Cider House Rules, based on the John Irving novel of the same name.

Scott Farm Orchard & Market is next door to two of The Landmark Trust USA’s properties (Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha and Kipling’s Carriage House). Two more of our properties (Dutton Farmhouse and The Sugarhouse) are located right on the grounds of Scott Farm.

Today, Scott Farm Orchard grows over 130 certified ecologically grown heirloom and unusual apple varieties. Visitors can pick their own apples or visit the Market to pick up freshly picked fruit, jams, jellies, pies, and cider. Scott Farm also offers events and workshops, including pruning and grafting workshops, orchard walks, Heirloom Apple Days, and an annual Harvest Dinner.
