Vermont’s housing crisis is one of the biggest issues our employers are facing. Housing stock is extremely low while costs are skyrocketing—with many Vermonters spending at least a third or more of their income on housing. This has exacerbated an already tight labor market for employers, who were struggling to attract and retain staff pre-COVID and now face even greater challenges due to the lack of low and moderate-income housing for Vermont workers.

Join VBSR for a discussion with local business leaders, the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition, Champlain Housing Trust, and Lieutenant Governor Molly Gray to learn more about what is driving our housing crisis, how it’s impacting local employers, and what lawmakers are doing to ensure every Vermonter can afford a home.

This virtual town hall is free and open to the public.

Details will be sent via email to all who register in advance of the event.
