Join some of Vermont’s most well-poised women in the food and beverage business to learn, network and be inspired by at Sterling College’s “Taking it to the Next Level: Women Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs Share Their Secrets” on January 25, 2019. This one-day seminar, offered through Sterling’s School of the New American Farmstead, is designed specifically for those who are considering taking the next leap in business development, with workshops covering planning, sales, marketing, finance and raising capital.

Allison Hooper, co-founder of Vermont Creamery, Eleanor Léger, co-owner and CEO of Eden Ice Cider, and Sas Stewart, co-founder and president of Stonecutters Spirits, will share their stories of struggle and success. Markey Read from Career Networks will be on hand to facilitate workshops and provide support to participants.

Other presenters include Janice St Onge, President of the Flexible Capital Fund, Kristina Michelson of the Law Office of Kristina I. Michelsen, PLLC, and Zoe Brickley, Sales & Marketing at the Cellars at Jasper Hill.

A culminating group discussion followed by a social hour cap the day’s events. Space is limited to allow for small workshop groups, and snacks and lunch are provided.
