Renewable Energy Vermont (REV) presents a virtual half-day session, as part of their REV 2020 Conference, investigating the technology and policy required to integrate renewables effectively into our electrical system and modernize the grid.

At 9:00 am, a keynote address from Kelly Speakes-Backman, CEO of the US Energy Storage Association. At 10:00 am, a panel discussion examines challenges posed by climate change to grid reliability, strategies and policies to mitigate the effects of changing weather and improve grid resilience, and financing strategies to bring new storage and renewable energy projects online.

Panel features Brett Cullen, Director of Business Development at ENGIE Energy Storage, Matt Nelson, Chair of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, Dr. Jason Shafer, CEO of Northview Weather, and Radina Valova, Regulatory Vice President of the Interstate Renewable Energy Council.

At 11:15 am, a technology showcase provides an insider’s look at the latest innovations in energy storage.
